I stumbled upon this website and really wanted to share. It has mugshots from the 20′s and seriously, some of them look like they are doing a fashion shoot. They are actually posing in front of the camera and well, considering the fashion from back in the 20′s it sure looks like they could be in a magazine. There are a few of them who look quite scary though. Very ghost like. I think it has to do with the lighting, but some of them have very light eyes, almost non-existent.

Funny thing is, most of them even smile or are just sitting there nonchalantly, not really looking like they are in trouble for anything.

I wish they would still make mugshots like this. They look amazing. Even just the depth and field of the photos alone make them art.
